The Auteur Film Festival (FAF) from 27 November to 4 December

The 26th Auteur Film Festival (FAF) will be held in Belgrade from November 27 to December 4 in usual venues, but with several novelties.

Due to the epidemiological situation, the Festival organizers have announced that, in addition to the regular programme in cinemas, some films will also be available online, on the mojoff.net platform.

As usual, the FAF will present new and young filmmakers to the public. As part of the competition programme, 12 films will be screened that will compete for the festival’s Grand Prix, named after the great Serbian film director, Aleksandar Sasa Petrovic.

For the sixth consecutive year, the Festival will also showcase the Hrabri Balkan (The Brave Balkans) selection of films, which will present new film talent from the former Yugoslavia and the region in general. This year two, the festival will have the Bande à part segment, showcasing rebellious, radical and unusual films.

Film fans will also have the opportunity to enjoy several accompanying and retrospective programmes that have become a key part of the Festival in recent years and will be announced later.

In addition to Kombank Dvorana, the screenings will be held at Dom Omladine, Kulturni Centar Beograda, the Yugoslav Film Archive, the Fontana cinema, the Vlada Divljan Centre, Dom kulture ‘Studentski Grad’ and Kolarac.
