EXIT — Reunited, Bringing Life Back to Life

Exactly 20 years ago, the first international edition of the EXIT festival, after the turbulent nineties, gathered in one place a large number of young people from all parts of the region - Croatia, Serbia, Slovenia, Macedonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro. Many friendships were renewed, and large number of new ones were established, which, in the following years, were ritually deepened every July at the Petrovaradin Fortress in Novi Sad. EXIT thus became a way out for all those who wanted to build some new relationships in the region.

This summer, after more than 15 months of pandemic restrictions, bans on gatherings, inability to travel, alienation from each other, we are again looking for a way out, but this time on a global scale. We seek to be together again, because human contact is a primordial human need, without it life cannot be imagined. Thanks to the successful program of mass vaccination in Serbia and the drastic improvement of the epidemiological situation there, EXIT will be one of the first major festivals in the world to be held this summer. On this occasion, EXIT launched a video intended for people from our region, which invites everyone to reunited bring life back to life, and show the world the power of everything that connects us - the power of freedom, joy, love and unity.

United with EXIT — we bring life back to life!

"It is certain that at this year's Exit, as well as at the first international one twenty years ago, will be a catharsis of energy accumulated in the previous year, which will open some new dimensions of the festival experience. Therefore, this year's edition will certainly remain inscribed as unique and one of the most special in the entire history of the festival," said Sanjin Đukić, a member of the Board of Directors of EXIT Festival.
